Rules
The rules are
simple:-
- All entries must be playable without
modification on at least one of the following platforms: ZX Spectrum 48K, ZX
Spectrum 128, ZX Spectrum +2, Timex TC2048.
- Games submitted for the BASIC category
must be written purely in Sinclair BASIC. They may use POKE, PEEK, IN and OUT
commands, but the only use of the USR function must be for the creation User
Defined Graphics. BASIC games must have the ability to be stopped and LISTed to
allow the judge(s) to easily confirm that they use no machine code.
- Entries must be submitted in either
.TAP, .Z80, or .SNA formats. Or optionally
posted to me on audio tape,
and I will covert them to an emulator-friendly file.
- The closing date for the competition
is midnight, 30th November 2002.
- All voting will be kept private except
in the event that I believe vote rigging has taken place, in which case details
of questionable votes may be revealed and subsequently discussed in
comp.sys.sinclair. In the event of
suspicious votes being received, the judge's (that's me!) decision will be
final.
That's it as far as the rules go. There
are no size limits on your code. The bigger, flashier and more playable the
better!
