Background

For many years, the comp.sys.sinclair newsgroup has held an annual CSS crap games competition, where participants entered programs (usually written in Sinclair BASIC) that attempt to capture the essence of some of the poorly written, badly designed games that were released for the Spectrum over the years.

This year, inspired by some of the CSSCGC2001 entries which, frankly, failed to be suitably crap, I decided to hold the first CSS Non-Crap Games Competition. With participants actually trying to produce some simple, but reasonable-quality new games for the Speccy. There are even some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

To keep the competition open to as many people as possible, there are two distinct categories:-
